The Piece

Currently the film is doing the rounds with festivals. Before holding an industry screening and Q&A in Hackney East London we decided that a trailer cut would be helpful to showcase the film and raise excitement. After selling two screenings it seems it was a success and the trailer has gone on to further be used to contact other industry and producers for consideration.

Edit Notes

The objective with the edit was to show as little of the narrative as possible from this short story whilst showing enough to generate suspense, and to slowly build an uneasy tension in the viewers mind. It is paramount in my mind, that a trailer gives a very clear tonal sense of what the audience can expect. So that not only do we entice people to watch the film, but they also get what they hoped for which is essential to the success of the film in terms of it being shared.

Heading

It's not an understatement to say that Jacob truly helped me discover the film. The sessions at his studio were perhaps my favourite part of the process. Seeing it come to life, and making decisions together that would challenge my preconceptions and push the film to evolve. Each session crafting and refining the piece into something I am ecstatic with.
