The Vision

A fast pace introduction to Richard James of Savile Row. What they offer, what they make, yes. Though more importantly the piece intends to showcase the tone of Richard James, and the energy carried by the brand, and imbued into their craft.

Edit Notes

I was given a lot of freedom of how best I wanted to weight the various footage for this edit. The key instruction being to showcase the artistry of both, their campaigns, and their in store experience. Seeing their suits in both fashion and lifestyle contexts I felt helped to ground the suits as both things of beauty and commercial products. I also wanted to proudly showcase their prestigious Savile Row foundations and high profile clientele.

Richard James - NYC In-Store Display

The Vision

With the company opening a new fitting room in NYC I was asked to create an looping brand piece for their in-store displays. The goal here was to create a slightly more subtle piece that could blend into the space and subtly educate the NYC audience on the brands righ heritage.

Edit Notes

It was important that the edit not appear to flashy and fit in a more subtle context. The copy and lockup treatment we're inverted to gold on black, presenting richness and pulling the display into the low-key. I decided to still edit the piece to music to offer the client the opportunity to use the film in additional contexts.
